It doesn’t matter if you are calling on the phone or walking in the door, your first impression will be from Kevin Cordova, Spinnaker’s director of First Impression. Kevin has been working for Spinnaker since June of 2019, and he is an invaluable resource to both our owners and renters.
One of the main benefits Kevin brings to our owners is in helping record rent from renters. Many renters still write checks or drop off payments, and Kevin’s initials are on every payment he receives. This brings peace of mind to all involved; Renters can know they are protected and owners can rest assured their bottom line is being secured. Additionally, Kevin helps renters with paperwork and lease renewals. This empowers owners to focus on bigger picture issues in running their business. If you know Kevin is watching over the details, you can either relax at home or spend your brain-space on more visionary endeavors. Requests for maintenance are another aspect of the owner’s life Kevin looks after. This helps the owners know their properties are maintained as well as keeps the renters’ expectations in alignment with reality. When asked what his biggest joys are working for Spinnaker, Kevin is quick to respond: “I LOVE helping finding the right fit for families. Moving is one of the biggest stressors people will ever experience. I love problem-solving and working with people to make sure their next move will be their best move.” Another service Kevin loves to fulfill is the remote property showings! “Anything I can do to take stress off a potential resident makes me thrilled! I love getting hugs from families after I give them their keys.”
On the challenges of job, Kevin points to the intricacies of tenant and real estate laws as being his biggest hurdles early in the job. Now though, he feels very comfortable with the ins-and-outs of the real estate management world.
“If I could tell renters one thing about renting from a Spinnaker property, it would be please keep us posted on all changes or repairs you need. We will get back to you as soon as we get the answer ourselves. If I could tell owners or potential owners one thing I would tell them that they are in ‘good hands’ with Spinnaker Property Management. We are all trained professionals to obsess about the little details so you don’t have to!”
